Thousands of runners hit the streets of Portland Sunday morning for the Rock 'n' Roll Portland Half Marathon.
Many runners wore blue wrist bands that were sold to raise money for the wounded who still need care in Boston.
The route started on Southwest Naito Parkway and circled around downtown before runners crossed the Hawthorne Bridge, headed through Laurelhurst Park and crossed back across the Willamette River over the Steel Bridge.
Several bands performed at various stages placed along the route including Hit Machine, Portland School of Rock and Redwood.
During the race, TriMet rerouted ten bus lines; 4, 6, 8, 14, 15, 33, 35, 44, 70 and 77 . Max lines were not affected.
