Seattle Man Killed On Oregon Coast
A Seattle man's effort to dribble a soccer ball all the way to Brazil in time for next year's World Cup has died after being hit by a pick up in Lincoln City. The driver has not been charged. 42 year old Richard Swanson has recently lost his job and the soccer fanatic decided to go on an adventure. He used the walk as a fundraiser to collect money to give soccer balls to kids in Third World countries. Friends are talking about creating a foundation in Swanson's memory and sending his two sons to Brazil for the World Cup.
