Pregnant Store Owner Robbed and Tied Up
On the edge of the Pearl District sits Little Things jewelry store at 1720 NW Lovejoy Street. The owner, Andrea Angell was closing down the store for the evening on Monday night when the unexpected happened.
The man she was watching browse the store pulled out a knife, grabbed some items, and and demanded money. After he attained an undisclosed amount of cash he bound up the owner, who was eight months pregnant, and locked her in the store. Angell was able to break herself free after being tied up for 30 minutes, then called her husband and police.
The suspect is described as being a 5'6" white male in his late 20's, with a reddish//gray goatee.
