Bomb Threat Prompts Boston Federal Courthouse Evacuation
Workers, reporters, and officials could be seen running out of the Moakley Federal Courthouse in South Boston. Officials evacuated the courthouse citing a "code red" after a bomb threat was made.
Those inside were told to hurry and leave immediately. They were also told to not take the elevator.
Department of Homeland Security agents and U.S. Marshals have been walking around the building examining cars, as well as Boston Police K9 units.
This type of "code red" is the first in the courthouses history according to Boston's FOX 25.
Brigham and Women's Hospital was also evacuated earlier, prompted by an abandoned car. Investigators later cleared the threat. Hospital officials say that four victims from the Boston Marathon are in critical condition still, and that the hospital has 12 victims total still in their care.
