A Portland Timbers fan says a mob of San Jose Earthquake fans rushed his
car before Sunday night's soccer match and assaulted him. Police had
reports that at least 70 rowdy people were jumping on cars and throwing
bottles at Southwest 6th and Burnside.

his car, punched him in the face and tried to grab his scarf. Then at
least ten men jumped on the hood and smashed in the windshield. A
second person hit him through an open window, and a third person opened
the passenger door and slugged Decker.
His injuries weren't bad enough for medical attention, but there are bruises and bumps on his face.
Police haven't been able to find anyone who was involved in the attack. Most of them had scarves covering their faces. Investigators would like to hear from anyone who may have pictures or video.
