Each year, 40 Million Americans suffer from seasonal allergies. Sneezing, coughing, wheezing, sniffing. My son isn't even 10 years old and I've seen him struggle with this for years. I watched him just yesterday walk across a freshly cut lawn. We got home. He took off his grass-laden shoes and then proceeded to rub his eyes. Next thing I know, he was sniffing and puffy. He and I are taking a daily dose of children's Claritan every day. (Yes, I'm taking the child version--I bought the econo-size). If you can relate to this kind of suffering, this fact may make you feel better. Portland is one of the best cities for allergies. We are 98th on the list of the worst allergy cities. Last year, we were 100. Jackson Mississippi is number 1. Knoxville, Tennessee had the number spot for 3 years in a row. So, it could be worse. Hmmm, that doesn't make me feel much better. You?
