Salem Police say Roxanna Long, the 28-year-old woman thought to be missing since Friday has been located safe. She was found by Marion County deputies around 4:30 pm on Sunday.
Salem Police Officers, assisted by Marion County Deputies, Keizer Police Officers and Oregon State Police Troopers had been checking in an area earlier in the day based on information received through the investigation. Long was not located at that time, but as deputies continued to check the area they located her at a residence later in the day.
Long was last seen on Friday and had fabricated the phone call to relatives on Saturday and was staying with an acquaintance in the area.
Long has been taken into custody and is being charged with Initiating A False Report as well as Disorderly Conduct in the First Degree based on this incident. Police say she also had an outstanding warrant out of Yreka, California on charges of Hit and Run.
