A Hillsboro man allegedly taps his gun on a the window of a parked car in Aloha, then gets way more than he barganed for.

Dawn Durbin says around 11:00 Thursday night, she and her two friends were sitting in their car outside the Club Underground on Tualatin Valley Highway.  That's when she says 30-year-old Daniel Broom tapped his gun on her window.  So, she grabbed a pocket knife, opened the door and pushed him down.  Her two friends continued to wrestle him to the ground.

They say they heard Broom actually fire his gun several times, but only heard "click-click" insdead of "boom-boom".

Because of that, Broom is now facing both robbery and attempted murder charges.
