Ben Pike Plays the Game of Life

Sometimes activities in life become blurred in relation to what is really important. To Ben Pike, playing football at Toledo is just a game and is not the number one priority in his life. Ben Pike joined John Canzano on The Bald Faced Truth to talk about what is important in his life.

Ben Pike, a defensive end at Toledo decided to give up his final season of eligibility to help his fiancee Ashlee Barrett battle leukemia.

"No, I don't feel like I've given up a thing some people may see it as I'm losing something but I see it as you know I'm gaining so much more going out to be with her and continue our relationship and our love story so I don't feel like I'm giving up anything." Ben said about making the decision to quit football.

Ben Pike spoke with John Canzano about meeting Ashlee and where he proposed to her in the interview.
