GUILTY - Jury Hands Down Sentence for Mohamed Mohamud

Mohamed Mohamud
Mohamed Mohamud has been found guilty of one count of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.
The Portland Jury handed down the verdict Thursday afternoon around 3:00.
Mohamud was 19 years old in late 2010 when he participated in a plot to blow up a van that had been loaded with an elaborate fake bomb by the FBI.
Federal investigators proved their case that Mohamud wanted to set the bomb off by twice trying to blow it up using a cell phone. They say he was predisposed to terrorism from the time he turned 15. He is now 21.
