Prowler Shot Dead in Vancouver

A man is dead after being shot outside a Vancouver home.  The owner of a home on Northeast 33rd Street near 148th Place called 911 just before 4am, telling police there was a prowler outside the home.

Minutes moments later,  the homeowner called back saying the apparent intruder had been shot.

Vancouver police major crimes team is on scene doing an investigation.  KXL has a reporter on scene and will have updates as more information is released.
