Hill Faces The Heat

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was in the hot seat this morning, testifying before the Senate about the incident four months ago that led to the murders of four Americans, including the first U.S. Ambassador killed in 30 years. She’s already blown up once this morning as Senators question her about why Americans were told a lie about a videotape, which led to spontaneous protests that led to the deaths. That whole story…told by the President, Clinton, Ambassador Susan Rice and the rest of the Obama administration…was a lie and we know it now. But the President was in the middle of a tight re-election campaign. Now we know that it was a terrorist attack. Now we know that the state department had months of warnings about the threats to the embassy in Libya. And now…after hearing months of excuses about why Hillary can’t testify…travel, the flu, dehydration, bump on the head, clot on the brain, dog ate my homework. Clinton is anxious to leave the state department behind and start running for President…she has 4 dead Americans in her rear view mirror that she just can’t seem to shake.
