Amber Alert Canceled For Five-Year-Old Boy

An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 5-year-old boy from The Dalles.  He was taken by a man who attacked two adults with a hammer and then took off with the boy early this morning.

Skylar Coulcer-Jarding and 36-year-old Brian DePriest were found hours later on Highway 197 in Dufur.

Oregon State Police say the child is okay and DePriest was arrested.  The boy's mother has a restraining order against him.  He is not related to the boy.
