At least one Oregon lawmaker isn't yelling "Go Ducks" when it comes to their new head football coach, Mark Helfrich.  He's crying foul.

State Representative Mitch Greenlick co-sponsored the state's diversity law that says Oregon's public colleges and universities must interview at least one qualified minority candidate before making a hire.

Greenlick tells the Oregonian: "I think they gamed the system."

There are reports that Athletic Director Rob Mullens interviewed former Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, who is African American last Friday, the same day Hamilton accepted a job with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.

Greenlick wonders whether that interview was conducted in good faith.  He wants the House Education & Workforce Committee to hold a hearing and ask Mullens about the hiring process.
