Constitutional Scammer?
If you care about your rights and liberties, this President should scare you to death. He claims to be a constitutional scholar, yet he famously described it as a document of negative liberties. The only thing negative about it is that it tells the government what it CANT do to citizens. This is a President who believes that government can force citizens into things like health care, over their objections and punish them if they don’t comply. And today, the President plans to announce restrictions on rights protected by the 2nd amendment to the constitution. Now the constitution assumes that CONGRESS will write laws that set the limits on the time, place and manner of constitutional freedoms…stop you from shouting fire in a crowded theater, for example. But this President says he doesn't need Congress…because the people’s representatives refuse to pass the laws he demands. So he’s going to use executive orders…like the edicts of a dictator…to usurp the rights of the citizens he supposedly serves. This President swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution…and he and his family are protected by guns…but he wants to deny that protection to you and me. I hope that Texas congressman makes good on his promise to introduce articles of impeachment when Barack Obama crosses that constitutional line, today.
