Police are looking for two missing kayakers and believe they may be connected to the woman who's body was found on the Washington side of the Columbia River around 9:30 Friday morning by the Department of Fish and Wildlife near the Glenn Jackson Bridge and Interstate 205.

A vehicle was located at a kayak launch site in Oregon and a yellow kayak is missing from one of the missing person's homes, said Sgt. Scott Creager of the Vancouver police.

Not long after discovering the woman's body on Friday, searchers found a yellow two-person kayak on the southeast tip of Government Island.

The woman who's body was found was dressed with a life jacket and outdoor clothing, leading authorities to believe she may have been in the  kayak.

The woman was Asian and in her fifties.
