Jason Wade is the lead vocalist and main song writer for the band Lifehouse. He joined guest host Chop on the Bald Faced Truth Friday to talk about his life as a musician and to discuss the band’s upcoming performance on Fox’s New Year’s Eve Live Special this weekend in Las Vegas.
Wade maintains that there are a lot of changes he and his band mates have had to adapt to over the years, but it has probably helped them to become better as a group.
“I think it’s a good thing. I think that there’s great music out there today and we’re just trying to figure out how we fit into all of that.”
Wade also talked about how technology has changed the way people obtain music and how he has been there through the vinyl age, the CD age and now the digital age.
“When we first started, even the whole recording process was different back then. We started right before ProTools kind of took over the industry. So we were still kind of Old School…It’s interesting to watch technology evolve.”
