Dwight Discusses Tuesday's Tragedy

Most of us are still pretty shaken up by the tragic events that took place at Clackamas Town Center Tuesday. We at Flight 750 feel no different than the rest of you, so we called upon one of our most trusted friends, The Godfather, Dwight Jaynes, to make some sense of the seemingly senseless situation.
The Godfather admits, that he is just as confused, angry, upset and shocked as the rest of us. And he admits that although he supports the second amendment, something needs to be done to limit the access of dangerous weapons in this country.“This is not like the old days where you know, you had old muzzle-loaders and stuff. You’re talking about automatic weapons here that can get off a lot of shots in a short amount of time. I don’t know that people need to own those.”
The Godfather also states that what those people endured Tuesday, is something that they will never forget and something that is going to be difficult to move on from.
“I can’t imagine being in a situation with my children. I mean, I don’t know where you go from there…I don’t even know what I’d say to my kids after something like that.”
Although the main story was and still address the tragedy at Clackamas, The Godfather did also address the big game between the Blazers and the Spurs tonight, and he admits that he is continuously impressed by the Spurs' ability to remain one of the top teams in the west year after year.
“They fill in with players that fit their system, that will do what they want them to do, they play together, they play hard, they play good defense, and they do it night in and night out. It’s a tribute to their coach, and it’s a tribute to their front office who goes out, knows what kind of players to get and brings them in and doctrinates them in the system.”
