Clackamas Town Center to Re-Open Friday

Mall decorated for Christmas
It will be tough for workers to return to
Clackamas Town Center after Tuesday's
shooting spree that killed two and wounded another before the shooter committed suicide. Life can start to get back to normal when the mall re-opens Friday at 9:00am.
The area has been restricted with officers guarding the parking lot and access roads. Tri-Met service has also been impacted. Max trains will once again be able to stop at the transit center.
Employees returned today for a meeting on the mall's re-opening. A sign at the entrance reads "FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS - 12-11-12." A candlelight vigil is in the works to remember the victims.
The family of 15-year-old Kristina Shevchenko has opened a
bank account to help with her medical bills.
They also sent this statement: "Everyone is wondering how Kristina is doing. There isn't going to be a drastic change for some time because the road to recovery is a long and slow process. We would like to share that Kristina is talking with the family and is able to eat and sleep comfortably, which is what she needs to do at the moment. We thank you for your continued support and your prayers."
