LaMichael Running for the Niners

LaMichael James former Ducks running back, now playing for the San Francisco 49ers, joins The Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about his first play time on the field for the Niners. With the NFL playoffs coming up LaMichael gives us input on the Niners and how they're getting ready.

LaMichael James was able to get some good play time against the Miami Dolphins this last weekend for the short amount of time he was on the field. LaMichael is excited to get more play time and show his new team that he has what it takes to be a 49er.

“I was pretty much just locked into what I had to do. I really just ignored everything else and just went on the field and played”.

LaMichael has been getting more acclimated to the NFL life and trying hard to make new bonds with his teammates. He has been getting good advice from all the players and staff and is working hard to keep up with his teammates and play his heart out.

“Yeah my teammates, they talk to me all the time. They were talking to me throughout the whole weekend, your time is ready, and you’re going against the best defenses every day in practice so you know you can go out there and do it”.

Even though LaMichael only got a small amount of time in the lime light, everyone is excited to see him grow to his fullest potential while playing for the 49ers. LaMichael has a great attitude toward doing your best when playing for a professional team and leaves us with a great insight on how to survive the NFL.

“It is valuable, keep your mouth shut and just keep working hard. It can be a bit frustrating; I think everybody realizes that you’re a competitor, you want to be on the field, and you want to go out there and play and help your team win. But sometimes you just need to sit back and keep working until your number is called”.
