Three incidents of suspicious devices in two days have kept Portland Police and the bomb squad busy.

This morning, a man dropped off a box at the Chase Bank near Northwest 11th and Lovejoy and took off.  The neighborhood was evacuated as authorities investigated.  The package turned out to be debris.

There was another suspicious device this morning at the old Washington High School near Southeast 14th and Stark taped to a flag pole.

A real explosive was detonated near the playground of Sitton Elementary in North Portland yesterday, leaving a crater in the grass.  A mother told police her 16-year-old son used fireworks to blow up his science project.
