A man armed with a semi-automatic handgun wearing a ski mask, hoodie and gloves walked into the lobby of the Beaverton Shilo Inn around 4:00 this morning, but he didn't want a room.  He tied up the clerk and went after cold hard cash.

It took the victim several minutes to free themselves, and by then, the man was long gone.

A Washington County Sheriff's K-9 team searched the area around Canyon Road and Walker, but the robber wasn't found.
