Prime Rib and the holidays are a natural. Here's a delicious rub that infuses great flavor to this "king of meat cuts".
Ingredients:
6 juniper berries, crushed
1 tablespoon marjoram (leaves or powder)
1 tablespoon thyme (leaves or powder)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon allspice
1/2 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl. Evenly coat the entire outside of the
prime rib with the rub. Barbecue to your preferred level of doneness.
