Taxer in Chief B Hussein Obama is on a Jihad to raise the rate on the rich so that the government can bring in enough money to run the federal government for eight days. Voters approved tens of millions of dollars in new taxes at the last election in Oregon. And now Sicko Sam Adams and crew are hitting you with millions in new taxes on your home telephone, if you have one. The city council voted to increase taxes on land lines by about 5 million bucks a year. Sam says this increases tax equity. What a crock. This tax hits the Portland Plutocrat and the blue collar worker with the same tax. Hardly progressive. Second, the tax hits those with land lines. Lots of older citizens have land lines but lots of 20-somethings just use their cells. No tax equity there. And the tax falls on the company’s gross income…not net. So a company that makes no profit or loses money still pays the tax to the city. And it pays for the gross mismanagement of the police bureau by…guess who…Sam Adams.
