The Oregon Ducks finished the regular season with one loss and appear headed to a BCS bowl game. Former Ducks LB and current analyst joined John Canzano on The Bald Faced Truth to talk about the teams defense and his time in Eugene.
One reason the Ducks have had a successful season is due in large part to the defense which is coached by Nick Aliotti. Haberly gave his thoughts on whether or not Aliotti could make a good head coach.
"I think he could do it he's a little bit of a perfectionist which I don't think is a good intangible to have as a head coach, not sure if it's in his best interest to follow Chip but I think he's got the know-how and he's been around the game long enough that he could manage it well."
A Ducks player on the defensive side of the ball that stepped up and took a leadership role is Kiko Alonso. John asked Brent if Kiko could make the transition from college to the NFL.
"He's strong as an ox he runs like a deer and I think he's got the ability so somebody's got to give him a chance let run on a kickoff and see what happens."
Brent also talked with John about bowl season and what the experience was like as a player.
