71-year-old Ksenia Aleksandrova and 70-year-old Pavel Krivolenkov were crossing Washington Street near 108th Avenue when they were hit.  Sadly, Aleksandrova did not survive.

Also in Southeast Portland, a 16-year-old boy was critically injured when he darted across 82nd Avenue from the Fred Meyer near Foster Road.

A 14-year-old boy was also running across an Aloha street on his way home from sports practice when he was hit by a vehicle on SW Farmington Road near 189th Avenue and knocked unconscious.  He's in stable condition.

A fifth pedestrian was struck around 6:30 this morning at Southeast 39th and Hawthorne.  Their injuries are not as serious.
