Pac-12 Network Distributes the Ball

The
Pac-12 Network is reaching millions of homes and is still hoping to expand it's viewership. Pac-12 Enterprises President Gary Stevenson joined John Canzano on The Bald Faced Truth to talk about the network and how it plans to expand and give it's fans more options.
Gary and John talk about the Pac-12 Network still being unavailable to subscribers of Direct TV.
"We've made the same offer to Direct TV that we've offered to the other big ones, and they've taken a position that the only way they want to carry us is on a Ala-cart basis which is absurd. They've got over fifty sports networks in their portfolio none of them are on Ala-cart. They've built their business around sports, our fans have sent over 90,000 emails to them and so their position is a bit strange to us."
John asks Gary how the Pac-12 Network is doing as a young network.
"We've been on the air since August 15th we've produced over 200 events and you know we've had certainly some hitches and some glitches but overall we're very pleased with where we are and I think it's a real tribute to our staff."
Gary Stevenson also talks to John about the many viewing options to fans of the Pac-12.
