Don't Get Caught Not Plugging The Meter

If you have the day off, you’d naturally think the meter maids aren't working either.  Wrong, though.  The City of Portland was passing out tickets like candy.  We counted eleven tickets on windshields in just a few short blocks downtown in just one half-hour.

The drivers we talked with were really confused.  Each ticket was for $45.

City, state and federal offices are closed along with banks and post offices.
