It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Tree going up in the middle of the square
Portland's official Christmas tree arrived today with a parade through downtown Portland. It's going up in Pioneer Courthouse Square in time for the tree lighting ceremony on the night after Thanksgiving.
For the next few weeks, workers will be putting it up limb by limb and decorating the 75' tall Douglas Fir.
The tree was donated by Stimson Lumber of Gaston.
