Before November 5th, 1912, Oregon women could neither vote in general elections nor hold elective office. All that changed on the day women in Oregon won a basic right of citizenship - the right to vote. Since then, the women of Oregon have engaged in a century of action.
To celebrate, on the eve of the 2012 general election people from the Century of Action will be dressed in 1912 period garb and stationed at Pioneer Square and Director Park handing out literature.
