Brent Barry praises the Blazers’ effort

NBA TV analyst Brent Barry joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the season opener for the Blazers on Wednesday night. Beginning his basketball career at Oregon State, Barry finished his storied run at Oregon State in 1995. He went on to play for sixteen seasons in the NBA for seven different teams. Barry reached the pinnacle of his career with San Antonio, winning two championships with the Spurs in 2005 and 2007. Today, Barry serves as one of the most astute analysts for NBA TV.
As Hurricane Sandy bears down on the east coast, Brent and John begin their conversation discussing Brent’s passion for surfing off the coast of California. Brent then comments on the Blazers’ bad luck over the past few seasons. Brent reveals why he will be watching LaMarcus Aldridge’s enthusiasm this season and talks about the pressure Aldridge must be feeling to rescue the Blazers’ season.
