Homeowner Slashes Tires of Thief

The Clackamas County Sheriffs Office says a homeowner on Morgan Lane came home to find two Hispanic looking males in his home yesterday afternoon. The homeowner grabbed a pickax and confronted the two men, who then dropped all the items and fled. The victim took a swing at the car tires as they were trying to get away. He successfully tore up one tire, but they still managed to escape. Later that afternoon, residents near by called 911 to report that two men matching the description offered $100 to give them a ride into town. The residents refused and called police. Police searched the area, but were unsuccessful.
