The Oregon State Beavers have a tough challenge ahead as they face BYU without their starting QB. Beavers head coach Mike Riley joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the road ahead.

Beavers starting QB Sean Mannion suffered a knee injury during last week's win against Washington State. Riley and Canzano talk about QB Cody Vas stepping in under center and taking charge of the team.

"I think Cody is going to be absolutely fine, if there's anything that's missing here it's just playing time and that's my fault", coach Riley said regarding the readiness of Vas.

Oregon State faces off against a very stout BYU defense that has looked good early in the 2012-2013 college football season.

"I think it's a good challenge because you look at them and if you didn't have to play them you'd admire how physical they are and how hard they play" Riley said about the BYU defense.
