Bieber in concert

Pop star Justin Bieber returns to the Rose Garden tonight with a federal lawsuit hanging over his head.

It was filed by Stacey Wilson Betts, a Wilsonville mother who claims his concert here two years ago caused permanent hearing loss.  Her civil complaint before U.S. District Judge Michael Simon seeks more than $9 Million in damages from Bieber, Island Def Jam Records, Vulcan Sports and Entertainment, and AEG Worldwide.

Vulcan has filed a motion to dismiss, AEG has received an extension until Friday to respond, and Simon's office says Bieber and Island Def Jam Records have not been served yet.

Wilson Betts filed the suit herself without the help of an attorney.  She has not returned several calls from FM News 101.
