A Tri Met Driver Attacked By Passenger
Good Samaritans rushed to help a Tri Met bus driver last night after he was attacked by a passenger while driving through Oregon City. About 15 minutes after the man got on the Line 33 bus at the Oregon City Transit Center last night he got up and punched fellow passenger John Olachaya. The man then pulled out a knife and plunged it into the stomach of the driver. Three other men on the bus were injured as they subdued the attacker. Two of them were stabbed and the third was bitten. They and the driver were sent to the hospital for treatment.
