Cowardess. Thy Name Is Wyden...
I’m worried about Senator Ron Wyden.
He doesn't seem to know where he is or what
to do lately. He lives in New York City,
works in Washington DC, and says he represents Oregon.
A while back he co-wrote a plan to fix Medicare
that made a lot of his democrat party friends angry, because it allowed
Americans to make their own decisions about which insurance to buy instead of
allowing our wiser government masters to decide.
Today if you ask about the
plan he denies it was a plan and he doesn’t like to be reminded that he co-wrote it with Paul Ryan, who is likely to be the next vice President of the
United States. You would think he’d like
that connection. And this week, he
attended a meeting of northwest folks who hate the idea of exporting coal and
creating jobs.
Asked if he wanted a lot
of environmental studies done to slow down or stop this new trade, the Senator
indicated he stands by Governor Kitzhaber, who opposes all uses of coal, but
isn’t ready to oppose coal outright.
Like I said, Wyden’s not sure who he is anymore
