Busy Afternoon For Wash. Co. Deputies

Washington County deputies respond to three accidents in three hours late Monday. The first one involved a car that hit a woman as she crossed SW Beaverton- Hillsdale Highway at Scholls Ferry. The driver was cited for failure to yield. Next deputies were called a hit and run on SW 185th and Blanton. A woman bicyclist was seriously injured when hit by an SUV that left the scene. Deputies found the vehicle at a nearby apartment complex and arrested the driver. The third call came from SW 185th and Pheasant Lane where a man rode his bicycle into traffic. Deputies say he had apparently been drinking. He was taken to Legacy Emmanuel with life threatening injuries.
