A number of years ago, I developed this recipe at the request of a friend who needed to impress his mother-in-law. "Don't let me down Mr BBQ," he warned. I came up with this recipe, and the ham was a hit. Give it a try!

Ingredients: 1 cup of mustard (plain, deli or stone ground), 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/4 cup clover honey, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon allspice. (Optional: 1 teaspoon each of orange and lemon zest)

Preparation: Place all ingredients into a glass bowl, mix thoroughly together to blend ingredients. Brush on ham, then begin to cook ham at 300 degrees. Use remainder of mixture to baste ham once every 45 minutes until the ham is cooked or warmed up. Makes approximately 2 cups.
