Mark Abrams

Marc Abrams is a former member of the Portland School Board, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon and member of the Democratic National Committee. Marc was a member of the Electoral College in 1996. His first choice has never been elected President of the United States. Neither has his second choice. Marc has been a practicing attorney for 30 years, since his graduation from the University of Michigan School of Law. He has taught at the University of Oregon, Temple University and at Lewis and Clark Law School. Marc has briefed the United States Supreme Court twice on the issue of student press freedom. He currently is a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oregon, and President of AFSCME Local 1085, the Oregon Association of Justice Attorneys.
