Brett Reckamp arrived at KXL in May 2012 and is currently reporting afternoons and anchoring evenings. Brett most recently was Director of AM Programming for KERN, KGEO and KERI in Bakersfield, CA. Before that he anchored, reported, produced, imaged and hosted for KBOI and KTIK in Boise, ID. Through the 2000’s he covered Boise State Football and athletics extensively and co-created and hosted the original golf show “Tee Time on the Ticket”. His radio career includes stops at KLIF in Dallas, TX and even the legendary KGW here in Portland. He’s a Columbia School of Broadcasting (’89) grad and a 7 time Idaho State Broadcaster’s (ISBA) Association winner.
Reckamp is thrilled to be back in beautiful P-Town working at his dream station. He’s a news hound who flat loves to golf, ski, hike, bike, geek-out on fantasy football and bump-around with his most loved ones including his wife Debbie and their stud son 6-year-old Keenan Ryan.
