Jim Ferretti

Jim started with KXL in 1999 as a promotions intern and was hired as Overnight Anchor and Afternoon Reporter in 2003. He is married with one child and is from Portland, Oregon.

After accepting a position with KUIK in Hillsboro, Jim returned to KXL in 2010 as the mid day board operator before moving into the roll of Producer for Portland’s Afternoon News.

Jim is very involved in charity work that involves kids and family’s battling Congenital Heart Defects. Jim’s Three year old daughter is a survivor of a CHD and had open heart surgery when she was 9 days old and 4 months old. She will have at least one more by the age of 5.
