Chris was born and raised in the Portland/ Vancouver area. His radio career began at KXL as an intern eight years ago. Since that time he’s worked overnights, street reporter, weekend anchor, editor, and just about anything else at the station. Currently he’s the editor/producer for Portland’s Morning News, the #1 rated news program in town on 101 FM KXL. When he’s not working hard to keep Portlanders informed, Chris can often be found roaming the many natural areas around town with his trusty digital camera, or working on a number of writing projects he fully intends to finish... some day.
