Man Dies in Shooting, Car Crash in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Portland police are investigating the death of a man found in a crashed SUV.

Sgt. Chris Burley says officers discovered the body late Tuesday after responding to reports of gunfire and a car crash in outer southeast Portland. The victim’s name has not been released.

Officers searched the neighborhood for whoever fired shots, but couldn’t find anyone. Burley says there is no danger to the public.
