Man Arrested in Fatal Portland Stabbing

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police arrested a 42-year-old man accused of stabbing another man to death in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood.

Jacob McGhee has been charged with murder and other crimes in connection with the death of 30-year-old Richard Whitemore. McGhee did not have a lawyer as of Wednesday morning.

Officers found Whitemore lying in a pool of blood Nov. 7 near the Morrison Bridge. He died at a hospital.
