Shooting Leads to Police Chase, Manhunt

ALOHA, Ore. – A shooting in Aloha leads to a police chase and a massive police manhunt. Saturday night the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting at Aloha Market on Tualatin Valley Highway, and found a man injured by a gunshot. Police then spotted the suspects’ car and chased it into Hillsboro on TV Highway. The car left the highway, and crashed into a fence on Lois Street. The two male suspects then fled on foot. One was caught right away after a brief foot chase. But a massive police search with K-9 dogs didn’t find the other until midnight.
The man who’d been shot was taken to a hospital. He underwent life-saving surgery, and is expected to live.
