Portland Ore – Frank Abagnale is back in Portland to warn us about cyber-fraud. We met up three years ago and talked about credit vs debit and the latest on scams and how to avoid them.

Abagnale has joined forces with the AARP Fraud Watch Network and AARP Oregon. Between the ages of 16 and 21, Abagnale successfully posed as an airline pilot, an attorney, a doctor and cashed millions in fraudulent checks. In case you didn’t read the best-selling book…spoiler alert…he got caught and his exploits were depicted in the movie Catch Me If You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Today, Abagnale is an expert on the subject of identity theft, has written three books on the subject and served as a consultant to some of the largest companies in the world on the subject of cybercrime. He speaks tonight at Revolution Hall.
