I had the pleasure today of speaking with Mayor Tom Potter, Chief of Police Rosie Sizer and Multnomah County Chair Ted Wheeler about the pending summer vacation. The city will be upping patrols in the late night hours to keep an eye on kids out of school . . . enforce curfew . . . and the parental responsibility rule (if your child is out after curfew, you could face the penalty).

They also unveiled this year's Safe Summer publication . . . it's a list of HUNDREDS of activities available to local kids (summer camps, clubs, classes, etc.).
