Convicted panty thief Sung Koo Kim is scheduled to get out of prison today. The Tigard man spent almost six years behind bars after he was convicted of stealing thousands of pairs of women's underwear from several college campuses. In addition to the panties, police found thousands of pornographic images on his computer. During his sentencing, he asked the community for forgiveness and says he never meant to hurt anyone. He was considered a suspect for a time in the disappearance of 19 year old Brooke Wilberger because one set of panties he stole belonged to a woman who lived in the same Corvallis apartment complex. Police later charged a New Mexico man, Joel Courtney, with the teenager's death.
