December 24, 2012, 7:30 amIn a scene that will be repeated in churches across the metro area, kids will retell the Nativity story today. 10 year old Will Trunzo will play Joseph at St John The Baptist Episcopal Church's Christmas Pageant. His 8 year old brother Anthony will be one of the Wise Men. The boys have been taking part for the last five years. They started out as sheep and worked their way up. A real infant will play the part of baby Jesus. The baby's father is on duty in Afghanistan. The girl playing Mary in the pageant is the baby's aunt in real life. The pageant includes a well worn and much loved camel named Cleo. Reverend Whitney Edwards says playing Cleo is a right of passage at St. John's. It takes two of the older kids to carry the camel's frame. The Christmas pageant starts at 4pm.
