SEC Guy Sounds off About Signing Day

It’s been an awfully quiet month on the Portland airwaves given the fact that the Alabama Crimson Tide have just repeated as college football National Champions.  But on Thursday, one of our favorite guests, SEC Guy, the family practitioner himself, came out of hibernation to give Chad a few laughs on Flight 750.

The Doctor began with one of the most bizarre stories of the season, Manti Te’o and his infamous ficticious girlfriend.

“Very South Beach of you to latch up with some Hawaiian guy and have a marital relationship on the phone like that.  I saw that on Maury Povich one time and I don’t trust that guy with three feet worth of skunk intestines.”

Doctor Koglsotter also addressed the Signing Day dominance of the SEC and why so many of the top recruits are heading down South.

“A, We grow better athletes down here. B, the weather’s nicer so guys can go outside and run fast and jump high all the time.  C, we’ve got better coaches.  D, we’ve got better facilities.  E, we’re more committed to football.  F, we believe in God.  G, we like women.  H, we play real football.  I, we have Nick Saban and other good coaches.  And then J, it’s just SEC.  I mean, you can just say SEC football and high-school boys just swoon to play in the SEC.”

And then finally, the good doctor mentioned Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and how he might pose a threat to Alabama and the rest of the SEC next season.

“I do believe that that little fella from Texas A & M is dangerous…On the field, and off.”
